Our small animal practice is equipped with direct digital x-ray, dental x-ray, dental unit, operating theatre, ultrasound and a complete IDEXX Vet Lab Suite. Our patients are only with us during the day. However, apart from medical investigations and treatments, we are also offering a broad range of surgical procedures such as pyometra op, urinary bladder stone removal, gastrointestinal foreign body removal, anal gland removal and removal of other lumps and bumps. Prophylactic procedures involve for example castrations in dogs and cats. Dental treatments involve extractions and tartar removal. We do not currently perform root fillings etc.

We are now looking for a full-time veterinarian that feel confident in, and has got a few years of experience carrying out, most of the mentioned procedures. To have a great passion for surgery, being skilled and having a strong ambition to do a good job are factors that will give you a big advantage when applying for this position.
You do not need to be fluent in, or even speaking, Swedish today but need to have a drive to learn the language fast. Most of our customers will understand English as well as our staff. You will get help with client communication whilst learning Swedish. It is, however, of great importance that you understand and speak English fluently.

We can offer you a work opportunity in the south of Sweden on the west coast close to the sea (and Båstad famous for Swedish Tennis Open in July). This two, looking to be a third, vet practice is privately owned, operating business hours, 8-17, Monday to Friday, only.

The practice is situated 7 mins by car from the train station and 5 mins from the sea. To get to Kastrup, Copenhagen international airport, by train takes less than 2 hrs and by car approximately 1½ hrs. Only 20 mins to nearest airport.
